"I picked a legend from the country Venezuela, I chose the legend “La Sayona”. I decided on this legend because it is somewhat similar to La Llorona. La Sayona is based on a woman cursed by her mother after she murdered them both. La Sayona murdered her husband who she assumed was having an affair with her mother. Her mother had put a curse on her before she died. So it is said that La Sayona goes after unfaithful men but is also a scary story for children. There are a couple versions of this, some say it was his mother and some say it was hers."
