SkyTrek - Ziplining o Canopy = ¡Adrenalina!
Our experience at Ziplining or Canopy, as they say in Monteverde, is always one of the most anticipated activities from the Costa Rica trip. We always go to SkyTrek, where they treat us really well. As part of the trip, we reach the top of the Continental Divide in Costa Rica and, on a clear day, it is possible to see both sides of the country, the Caribbean and the Pacific, and Arenal Volcano. At different times we have seen monkeys, different types of birds, butterflies, and much more. Each trip is different. We recommend NOT participating in this activity if you don't like being in high places or if you don't like going very fast. It is recommended if you want to try something you haven't done before. Don't worry because many students have felt a little afraid before going on this activity, but, after trying it, they have felt like they gave accomplished something important by overcoming their fear.

With the practice line, there are 10 lines all together. The practice line takes you to the tram office where you are taken to the top of the mountain without any problems. If, after zipping across lines #'s 1 and 2, you do not wish to continue, you can return in the tram back down. Once you have gone on #3, you have to continue to the bottom of the mountain. Line #7 is the fastest and #8 is the longest. If the wind is blowing hard, we travel in pairs. |
